Larry’s Steaks 76-Foot Hoagie

To excite fans for the Sixers first-round NBA playoff series against the Orlando Magic, local favorite Larry’s Steaks made a 76-foot long cheesesteak. At lunchtime today, Sixers Dancers were on hand to give out free pieces of the cheesesteak to energized fans. Students from nearby St. Joseph’s University, people passing by, and drivers were encouraged to grab a piece of the cheesesteak and support the Sixers tomorrow night when they take on the Magic at the Wachovia Center beginning at 7:30 p.m.

After getting generous portions of the enormous cheesesteak, happy fans stuck around to discuss the Sixers’ series, current trade rumors, and predictions about the NBA Finals. The Sixers Dancers posed for pictures, ate lunch alongside fans, and promoted the game tomorrow night in their usual stylish fashion. All those in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the meal provided by official caterer of the Sixers and it seems the Sixers will have a great amount of support for their important game against the Magic.
