“Customers always come first!” These were the words spoken by Sixers Radio Play-by-Play Announcer Tom McGinnis as he welcomed Sixers Season Ticket Holders to the second annual Fan Forum. It was those words that set the tone for the rest of the evening where Sixers executives rotated among three intimate assemblies of Season Ticket Holders to discuss the organization from both a business and team perspective.

Assistant Director of Client Relations Kristen DiAngelo spoke of her enthusiasm towards the event. “We wanted to give the Season Ticket Holders an insight and a place to provide feedback. They are our most valued fans who are at the games and can let us know honestly what they think. It’s also a great opportunity for the ticket holder’s to talk basketball with our General Manager and Head Coach.”

The first station consisted of Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko and Senior Vice President of Business Operations Lara Price. They discussed business management issues, food, parking and customer service. The second station began with Sixers President and General Manager Ed Stefanski’s optimistic team overview and ended with his goals for the future of the team. Coach DiLeo led the last station commenting on each individual player’s strengths and discussed some of his important coaching decisions thus far. Each executive took notes the entire session, taking notes on the views and opinions of their dedicated fans.

A welcoming question and answer portion followed each session. Kristen described the tone of the event as both festive and positive. “We encourage the Season Ticket Holders to ask questions and speak their mind.”

There was no limit on topics discussed and the fans were given an inside perspective of the team and their plans for the future. An important night for both Season Ticket Holders and Sixers Executives – it was a productive night for all!
