Fort Wayne Mad Ants Make Prime Time Television Debut

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants are headed to Hollywood! The Mad Ants will make their prime time television debut this Monday, September 29 on The CW as the hit drama One Tree Hill begins a storyline featuring the NBA Development League’s most recognizable team. Regular cast member Nathan (played by James Lafferty) will try out for the Mad Ants as he pursues his dream of playing professional basketball.

Producers of the show have worked closely with Fort Wayne and the National Basketball Association to accurately portray a young player’s journey through the D-League to the NBA. One Tree Hill will replicate the Mad Ants’ widely popular logo and recreate their home court as they bring the team to life on national television. The show’s Nathan will follow the path taken by players like the Mad Ants’ own Earl Calloway, Ron Howard, and Rod Wilmont as they work their way up the professional basketball ranks.

The Mad Ants are excited to partner with the NBA and The CW, and the team is equally excited to be a vehicle which continues to raise the national profile of the Summit City. Join viewers from across the nation as they focus on Fort Wayne during The CW’s One Tree Hill starting this Monday at 9:00 PM ET on Comcast channel 19, Direct TV channel 385, Dish Network channel 234 or 251, or Verizon channel 6.
